There are two ways to expand a subhierarchy... you can either click on the name of the directory (i.e. 'src', or 'cat' under 'src'), or you can push into the directory, making it root. Clicking on a directory name expands it, but your current 'root' remains the same... i.e. if you have opened up bin, you can click on 'cat' and 'chmod' and see both of those expanded all on one screen. But if you 'push' into cat, then your root becomes cat and you only see cat on your screen. 'push' is very useful in that it reduces the amount of material sent over the wire, making the system useful for people running over tacked up async modems. You can also bookmark pushes. The database remembers any expansions you do between sessions, which is also cool. I am working on personal email hotlinks.. I also want to mirror the current -current tree onto flea and have a 'read' hotlink so you can bring up (or download) individual source files, and I also want to have hotlinks to email auditors or the specific auditor sub-set alias. -Matt Matthew Dillon Engineering, BEST Internet Communications, Inc.
