To make this compile again without too many warnings, I changed setbit to set_bit in all the files and here.

and in externs.h, change the definition of uname to:

char uname[MAXLOGNAME];

FreeBSD-current has 16 byte login names.

If you complete your patches, I'll compare them to my patches :-)
