2.0.35 service install on win2k

hi

I have downloaded and compiled 2.0.35 on win2k.

the service can be installed "apache -k install" but then cannot be started. there is an error service number 1 (don't know what it is).

but running apache as a console works ok.

i am under win2000
compiled with vc6
