Access Log timestamps go backward in time

Summary: Access Log timestamps go backward in time
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.36
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: sergio.carvalho@acm.org

I have an Apache 2.0.36 install, running horde.org's IMP (php-based webmail client). It is very frequent that my access log timestamps go backward in time (see attachment #1 for a snippet).

In some cases, the timezone changes between log entries. See attachment #2 for a snippet.

The server is running SuSE Linux 7.3. The time is synched by xntpd. xntpd's logs show nothing abnormal, and in a simple "while true; do time; done" time never goes back.
