We have some customazations in mod_proxy that make use of request->notes. After upgrading to apache 1.3.27 those no longer worked. Eventually I found it's due to the request->notes to be "lost" somewhere. Also I could not find the problem to be in the mod_proxy code. It seems it might be a core problem. On the mod_perl mailing list I also found other people with that problem.
