Summary: [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `aniset
te.ucs.louisiana.edu' does NOT match server name!?
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.39
Platform: Sun
OS/Version: Solaris
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: mod_ssl
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: apachebugs@louisiana.edu
I am seeing SSL error msgs like that shown in the summary line as httpd 2.0.39 starts up (startssl). I put new code in modules/ssl/ssl_engine_init.c to see what the value of s->server_hostname was, and I found it to be set to "new.host.name". Apparently is is what base_server->server_hostname is set to when ssl_init_Module() is invoked. The SSL module seems to work OK despite this warning.
