DO NOT REPLY [Bug 11254] New: - mod_webapp sends status code 0 - Netscape 4 complains loudly
From: <bugzilla(at)apache.org>
Date: Mon Jul 29 2002 - 10:14:15 EDT
mod_webapp sends status code 0 - Netscape 4 complains loudly
Summary: mod_webapp sends status code 0 - Netscape 4 complains
loudly
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.39
Platform: Sun
OS/Version: Solaris
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: Other
Component: All
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: rberglin@kcp.com
Objects served through httpd-2.0.39 from tomcat-4.0.3 via mod_webapp-4.0.4 appear to be sending a status of 0 to the browser (instead of 200). Netscape 4 and IE 4 complain about the status returns of 0. IE5+ and Netscape 6+ don't seem to care (I haven't tried any other browsers). Unfortunately, my offending server is an internal resource, so I can't give you a URL. I don't know if this bug should be reported to the httpd team or to the tomcat team. For now, I'm just reporting it to httpd.
