• Additional Comments From jdjoslyn@hotmail.com 2002-09-29 01:33 ------- had a live chat with McAfee technician who informed me that VirusScan v7 is not compatible with server software. Since the phrase "web server" has the word "server" in it, v7 will not work with it.

I did find out that disabling mcafee v7 does not help. I did find out that stopping the McShields service does help. After the service stops, apache webserver does start and function. I do have an open ticket with McAfee on this problem.
