From: <bugzilla(at)apache.org>
Date: Wed Oct 09 2002 - 10:15:29 EDT
Bug or feature: apache does not allow slashs in query string
Summary: Bug or feature: apache does not allow slashs in query
string
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.42
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Critical
Priority: Other
Component: All
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: tilman.giese@globalview.de
In order to get spidered by several robots, I often used the following syntax: http://www.test.com/index.php/category/1 where index.php is the file and /category/1 is the query string. However, apache2 searches for a file named index.php/category/1 and produces a 404 error message. Is this a bug or a feature?
