DO NOT REPLY [Bug 14098] New: - Memory leak on mod_proxy
From: <bugzilla(at)apache.org>

Memory leak on mod_proxy
Summary: Memory leak on mod_proxy
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.43
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: mod_proxy
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: juan.rivera@citrix.com
I configured Apache 2.0.43 as a reverse proxy using name based vhosts. I have a vhost as a regular web site too. When I hit Apache to view the regular web site, no memory increase in the child process. But when I hit vhost configure with mod_proxy, every hit increases the memory consumption by 40-60Kbs. The configuration is pretty standard, nothing real fancy, just plain reverse proxy configuration.
