Listeners clobbered after 5-6 hours (dhcp/network stack reset?) wrowe@apache.org changed:
What |Removed |Added

Status|REOPENED |ASSIGNED
Summary|Apache hangs abrubtly after |Listeners clobbered after 5-
|5-6 hours of moderate load |6 hours (dhcp/network stack
| |reset?)
The child is clearly determined that a fatal condition occurred in trying to AcceptEx on the connection, as the error WSAEHOSTDOWN indicates. The parent process needed to recognize the condition, invalidate all of the now-invalid listeners and restart them. Unfortunately the parent process isn't terribly clever about doing so. We will look at this report and attempt to come up with a fix. You can rest assured that this has something to do with your network/dhcp or other issue, and not with network drivers such as antivirus or firewall. Please, never again post so much cruft into the 'additional comments' block, this report is impossible to follow. That's what 'Create new attachment' is for.
