This was done several nights ago. Apache 2.0 no longer includes mod_proxy, nor will it be held up by proxy development. If the proxy gets beefed up by the time 2.0 goes to release, then cool. Otherwise, we'll release 2.0 without the proxy and people can separately fetch the alpha/beta release of the proxy (wherever it is, in its dev cycle).
