By the way (and sorry for being too lazy to look at the CVS...):

What is the status of 1.3.20-dev proxying ? Are all of these patches needed for 1.3 too? Is the progress with 2.0 (except for the brigade stuff and all the things specific for 2.0) back ported to 1.3?
After all, things like multi-threading exist in 1.3 too (for WIN32, for example).
