Ok - so far all I have is a mod_cache.c and a mod_cache.h, but it will grow when the backend cache modules start existing. Will sort out something after I have had some sleep.

My brain is currently cotton wool - gonna take it a bit slower from now on :)

Luckily the hard protocol bits of the cache already exist in the old mod_proxy HTTP/1.1 patch for 1.3 - the filters and brigades make things 100 times easier to code than what was there before. With some luck I should have something out the door by the end of the week...
