static link of php with apache 2.0.54

Hello,
I checked both php 5.04 and apache 2.0.54. I cannot find the instructions to compile php as static linked module of apache 2.0.54 instead of dynamically linked module (DSO module)

However, php 5.04 can be compiled with apache 1.3.33 as a static linked module
if I use "--with-apache" option for php 5.04 and "--activate-module=src/modules/php5" option for aapche.

I wonder if it is possible with apache 2.0.54 for compiling as a static module? Received on Sun Aug 21 21:50:20 2005
