PPPoE-Terminating connection due to lack of activity

Hi
I'am running the roaring penquin pppoe client on linux. i'am able to connect pppoe to the pppoe peer and IP address is allocated to the client. The problem is
It terminates the connection by displaying the message

"Terminating connection due to lack of activity connection terminated
connect time .6 minutes
sent 1756 bytes receives 1148 bytes
pppoe : read 9asyncReadFromPPP): Session 6457: Input/output error.

is it due to lcp echo packets not transmitted ? if so where modification should be done to stop this error is rp-pppoe ? thanks and best regards
