I believe PPPoE is *NOT* appropriate for wireless security for the following simple reason: Anyone can terminate a PPPoE session by faking a PADT frame, regardless of whatever encryption and authentication you use. True, you can "only" deny service, but this is still a serious problem.

Until PADT's can be authenticated, I think PPPoE is too dangerous for a wireless environment.
