RE: Using PPPoE to secure Wireless LANs?

No. If you want me to review it you send it on hardware. I get nothing from reviewing it where as you get free advertising. So I will not put myself out even 600 bucks for hardware so you can take full advantage of the exposure it would receive on my website. And you will notice I replied to you and the list both times. Next time look at the header.

Hello Bob,

Our demo version has been free for years (before we ever added the PPPoE

server) !!! Up to four clients for pppoe demo version. Download and enjoy! This has always been on our website -- you are welcome see it at www.mikrotik.com If you want the unlimited (up to 5000) clients, it is only
$45 for the license. That is a fraction of the price of Finepoint. Of course you need a server platform to run it on. We offer the licence for
$45 or with hardware and everything for $600! If you would like to publish
a review of our software, I can give you a free full license -- please write me off-list.

I don't think comparing price is "trashing competition." People are interested in price and need good value for their dollar. If this list is
an open list, then I think price discussion is normal.

To download and try the free demo: http://www.mikrotik.com/download.html

Do you need help?X

Also, it would be nice if you would make the list mails so that 'replies'
go to this list, and not the person that sent it to the list.

Sincerely,

John Tully
