PPPoE is a big problem and not a solution, there are major disadvantages with pppoe, for example the lower MTU, no multicast and so on... The best solution is to use Ethernet, when using flatrate there is no reason for the users to login.
There isn't any reason to use it since you still haveto use specific clients with Win2k...
