The death of the Covad and such was not so long ago for some people! Anyway, the point is that you haven't proved that you have to use pppoe to satisfy the regulators -- is that what you are trying to say. And it looks like there are plenty of examples of that not happening. Maybe you can't be objective if you are so close to pppoe (run a pppoe site). John
