Works great. That and the 17xx series, which can spare you a huge amount of money.

You do have to install the right IOS version if you want MS-CHAP and MPPE, though. Dunno which offhand, but I've been using one practically every day for a couple of months with MPPE and a Cisco AP to secure my 802.11b connection (the AP ensures noone can spoof the PPPoE server).

Configuration is buried someplace in the Cisco references, and is a surprisingly straightforward affair, IIRC. Can't say much more about it since 1) I don't manage the router itself now 2) don't have access to the docs from home.
