Hi all

we are using Cisco Ubr 7246 (cmts/router) running IOS
12.2, we are using interlink AAA server for user authentication, now we would like to incorporate the checkitem calling-station-id while authenticating the users
access request, but i hav found that my cisco ubr 7246 is
not sending this "calling-station-id" attribute at all to
the radius so radius is not been able to authenticate the
user based on this attribute , kindly let me know what

needs to be done so that my NAS (cisco Ubr) starts sending
the calling-station-ID to the radius, as we are us9ing

pppoe , i want the client's MAC Address to be sent by cisco
NAS to the radius server and then radius will check this
with the one configured in the user profile and accordingly
it accepts or rejects the authentication request from user.

i have tried using debug radius , debug aaa authentication/authorization etc command but never got

calling-session-id attribute anywhere in the logs nor on
radius logs ,

Thanx & Regards
Prashant Desai
