my pppoe-server and pppd question

Now,I had setup a pppoe-server with rp-pppoe 3.3 and pppd2.4.1 at linux 2.4.18. It run at a computer with PIII 1.0G + 1G mem. But if connections near 1000£¬the computer run slowly and clients can't login. what the matter? Received on Tue Apr 8 05:24:45 2003
