The introduced debian/NEWS file can be slightly improved with the attached patch:

fix a typo in the file configration
set maximum length to 80-chars wide (maximum for consoles, prevents wrapping)
put the list of modules in a multi-column layout to reduce it's line length (and reduce blank space on scree)
