exiting prefork child doesn't clear request pool

Hi!
I have question about bug described at
http://www.nabble.com/DO-NOT-REPLY--Bug-43857---New-3A----exiting-prefork-child-doesn-27t-clear-request-pool-to13753293.html Is there a chance, in near time, that this patch bug will be applied to apache2-mpm-prefork package in Etch distribution? Or I should apply this patch myself?
