Bug#463399: apr-1-config --libs returns spurious libs
From: Damyan Ivanov <dmn(at)debian.org>
Date: Thu Jan 31 2008 - 07:59:14 EST
Hi, While investigating the following warning from dpkg-shlibdeps in libapache2-mod-perl2:
debian/libapache2-mod-perl2/usr/lib/perl5/auto/APR/APR.so shouldn't be
linked with libuuid.so.1 (it uses none of its symbols).
...
I've found that the extra library linkage comes from apr-1-config:
$ apr-1-config --link-ld --libs
The only library that APR.so really needs is libapr-1 Please consider omitting "-luuid -lrt -lcrypt -lpthread -ldl" from the output. Thanks,
dam
