[RFC] Renaming the user-setup templates

From: Christian Perrier <bubulle(at)debian.org>

This is mostly a cosmetic issue but keepign some inconcistencies is less and less relevant as time goes.

The current templates in user-setup still use the namespace that has been inherited from the passwd binary package. This is because of the ancient usage of passwd, in the good old days of sarge and 2nd stage.

When we switched to a one-stage install for etch, we kept those templates, to avoid too much breakage to preseeded installs.

I wonder whether we could change this now.

From what I identifiy right now that would need:

  • modify user-setup
  • update the D-I documentation
  • add this item to the future D-I release notes (?)

Are there things that I forget about?

What do you people think about this change?
