If you're quick, you can rename the temporary .iso file created by jigdo as if it succeeded and use rsync to copy only the missing pieces from the full DVD image. (Once the new week's builds arrive, this trick won't work.) You could do the same with bittorrent if there were DVD torrents available.

If you miss the deadline, you can still use the damaged .iso as a seed for jigdo to create the newer DVD or CD images.

Most people find that only the first couple of CDs are needed for an offline Debian install. Any additional packages can be downloaded by your new Debian system after the installer completes.   --Don Received on Mon Feb 18 23:26:00 2008
