I do this already... and since I use Courier, I process each Mailfolder seperatly, which mean, rsync is looking for nor more then ~20.000 messages at once. running rsync on ~/Maildir and hiting MY own Maildir will eat the WHOLE memory and CPU-Resources of this FileServer. > Looking forward, you might want to try this if you have some free, But this mean, my Backup-Server must have the same Diskspace as the FileServer. but since I use my Backup-Server for more then one Machine (exactly 126 currently) DRBD is no real solution... Even if I use 1TByte Drives (where the performance is ok, because it will be only used as storage meduim for backups), I need too much drives. Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
