"on-topic" for debian-isp

so debian-isp tends to get the production-server questions. which is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as they're somewhat vaguely related to things that an ISP is likely to want/need to do, and especially if any answers are slanted towards an ISP environment. if there was enough interest, it might be a good thing to have a "debian-server" list dedicated to questions and discussions about production servers in "professional" environments (as opposed to a home user running dhcp or samba or whatever on their home LAN). OTOH, i don't think the occasional non-ISP server question here degrades the SNR. some of them are interesting and i learn useful stuff without having to wade through all the gnome/kde/user-application questions on debian-user. craig -- craig sandersReceived on Tue Oct 9 04:56:43 2007 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.1.8 : Wed Mar 19 2008 - 06:50:57 EDT |
