kdat

Hello everybody
I have three questions. 

 I am trying to find a good program to do tape archives and I heard about kdat. I tried downloading it using the command line
#aptidute downlaod kdat or
#aptidute install kdat
but it does not find it. Can someone help me find and install this program?
