Missing ID3 tags in Konqueror file properties meta info

I just installed a fresh netinstall of Etch (Debian 4.01) with KDE.
The problem I am having is that when I use Konqueror as a file manager, and I right-click on one of my mp3 files which hasn't had ID3 tags written yet, then look at Properties > Meta Info, all I can see is Track and Year. On mp3s that already have ID3 tags, it shows more tags, but not all the fields I used to see.
This same thing happened in my old Sarge install after I did a sys-upgrade and it installed a new version of KDE. My only solution after all was to wipe everything and do a newer install of Sarge.
But it shouldn't have happened on a fresh install. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. I am pretty sure I have everything installed. I am listing the installed items that seem like what are related to making this work:

Any help is appreciated. I just don't know where to start.
