Import KDE3 config doesn't work.
Current KDE4 packages use .kde4 as kde home and KDE3 use .kde. That situation will change when KDE4 will be good enough to replace KDE3.

You can remove your .kde4, copy .kde to .kde4 and see if your config is properly imported.
