hey everybody. I have the dreaded broadcom card. I got it to show up using the latest kernel from backports.org. However I cant get it to connect to any wireless networks including an unprotected 1 and a wep access pt for which I have the key. Does anybody has any experience with this?

iwconfig gives this:debian:~# iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

Warning: Driver for device eth1 has been compiled with version 22 of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 20. Some things may be broken...

eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"Joyce Gibson Innis HotSpot" Nickname:"Broadco m 4311"

          Mode:Managed Frequency=2.462 GHz Access Point: 00:09:92:01:38:A0

          Bit Rate=24 Mb/s Tx-Power=18 dBm
          RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:XXXXXXXXXX Security mode:open
Link Quality=66/100 Signal level=-65 dBm Noise level=-71 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

I cant seem to find a version 22 of wireless extension @ packages.debian.org. Im running etch stable. Any ideas? Thanks
