Package: upgrade-reports Severity: normal When trying to install the most recent kernel-image I get the error. E:/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-2.6.18-6-686_2.6.18.dfsg.1-18etch3_i386.deb: fehlgeschlagen in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1) on this machine - which is a rather old one (700 MHz). From the date of the file (24-Apr-08) I get the impression that I installed this update already on some other (faster) and more often used machines. And there was no problem with it. This just for your information. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-6-686 Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8)

Robert confirmed that this was indeed a diskspace issue so I close this report.
