Why ? Why not just make a symlink? If you must, you can set $DEFAULT to /var/mail/$LOGNAME.

Do you need help?X

I don't think so, it's get me ERR AUTH FAILED all the time with symlinks

> If you must, you can set $DEFAULT to=20 > /var/mail/$LOGNAME.

My .procmailrc it's this.

DEFAULT=3D/var/mail/$LOGNAME
LOGFILE=3D$HOME/.procmaillog
LOGABSTRACT=3Dno
#VERBOSE=3Don solo para depurar
VERBOSE=3Dyes
FORMAIL=3D/usr/bin/formail
NL=3D"
"

This do nothing diferent, still deliver all the messages to /var/spool/mail=  instead of /var/mail

And I call fetchmai like this to test:

fetchmail -akv -m "/usr/bin/procmail -d %T"

Any help?

Do you need more help?X

Best Regards.
Orestes.

Hi. Up to date Sid.

Over this last week, something happened to the mouse interface.

I have a laptop with a touchpad. For some reason, now there is a "scroll wheel" area on the right side of this touchpad, something I never turned on deliberately.

There is an option in the KDE control panel to make the "scroll wheel" slow down, but nothing to turn it off.

Can we help you?X

I would very much like to turn it the %^&* off. Is there some hidden option I can select/unselect that I've been unable to find?

Last week there was no "scroll wheel".

Is shrink supported in other fs types? If so, do steps 1 & 2, mkfs -t ext[23], shrink it, restore data, mount it on /home. mkfs will do 2b above, btw. Doesn't save you much, I suppose, but every bit helps.

I'd suggest hwinfo, but no telling if it would see the second monitor and report it. Might be worth a try anyway? I think your best bet is that "read EDID" suggestion. Too bad you can't just hook it up to another box and boot Knoppix. That'd sort it out soon enough. Bon chance. :-P -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced. The emails are sent, but they are also added to file in the ~ directory called "sent" and a zero byte file is created in the / directory. Where possible I have changed to mailx, but in some cases I need to use mutt. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks for any help, Larry

Maybe the game I played was misdetecting, is there a quick way to verify that hardware acceleration is working? Zach

Does 'X -configure' produce /root/xorg.conf.new?=20 that log is from the -configure run. What I'd like to see is the output from X -config /root/xorg.conf.new if one is generated. But I suspect its not since the X server dies. Otherwise, you're kind of shooting blind, but if you can get xorg to recognise the second "pipe" or whatever they call a potential video output, then it will probably detect the monitor reasonably well. At least enough for you to get a model out of the xorg logs.=20 I don't know if we've covered this, but what are your options for the second video output? is it BIOS controlled? is there a hot key involved? It may be that the video out isn't turned on?? >=20 > Hey Kamaraju. I can't see anything useful in there. I'd suggest > hwinfo, but no telling if it would see the second monitor and report > it.
