I started using eclipse with a LaTeX-plugin (or whatever you call it).
It works quite fine.

What does Firefox say about the page in View -> Page Information? (does=20
IE have anything equivalent? Haven't used it for 8 years...)
HTML Meta tags are generally discouraged in favour proper HTTP headers. =20
If the HTTP header says one thing, and the HTML document says something=20
else, what's a browser to do?
I suspect that the browsers are getting confused by having both HTTP=20
headers and html meta tags.... And I wouldn't blame them either :-)

The 'all' privilege probably exceeds the privileges that=20
debian-sys-maint actually possess. MySQL only allows users to grant=20
privileges to others that they possess themselves..
I think you're mis-using debian-sys-maint. It appears to be created to=20

(standard) 'root' account?

"any" USB pen drive? I.e. "a" or "it doesn't matter which pen drive I=20
try"
[pls don't be offended: English is not my first (or 2nd) language=20
either]

So it worked before.
What changed? New packages installed? Config changes?=20
Unless the cause is "solar spots" or wear-and-tear, something must have=20
changed on the PC side of things...

If lsusb no longer shows it, the problem is at kernel-level or=20
hardware-level...=20
But then I'd expect more entries in the system log that says something=20
along the lines of=20
localhost kernel: usb-4-2: USB disconnect, address 28
Anything like that in the log? If so, then the entries BETWEEN the two=20
sets might reveal some interesting information...
Does this happen regardless of which USB pen drive you try? If it only=20
happens for a certain pen drive, I'd suspect faulty "penware".. =20
