Interesting - I will have to take a look at this. It's available in etch - I just need to see if it can be configured only for monitoring and not limiting (of course you can set extremely high limits so that they don't trigger :))

Do you need help?X

Whenever I install packages within aptitude view, it will hang after the package installed. I have to close the terminal(urxvt, gnome-terminal) to kill aptitude after that.

But the apt-get works fine in terminal.
Was there issue of building the view in aptitude after new packages installed?
Or has anyone met this?
My system was upgraded from etch to lenny/sid and work with aptitude 0.4.6.1

Do you need more help?X

Appreciated of your helps!
Regards.

Can we help you?X

It's [1]. According to the majority experience in this BTS, I assume you are using a 2.6.18 kernel and have libc6-i686 package installed. Upgrade to 2.6.21 one in Lenny and 2.6.22 one in Sid should eliminate the problem.

I tried out the settings but it still doesn't seem to help. I get a bunch of these errors repeatedly.

a52: CRC check failed!
a52: error at resampling
a52: CRC check failed! 5.666 ct: 0.295 138/135 13% 5% 100.0% 127 0 1%

Can't find what you're looking for?X

I'm guessing this is due to the speed.

Thanks.

Running beautifully. I installed supertux from aptitude and install went fine. I tried launching but all I get is a blank screen. I can hear the sounds but that is it. Any ideas?
