qemu + samba

Hi,

I have a samba question.

I run qemu with an XP client. It all works out_of_the_box: sound, internet connection with tun and file sharing via samba.

But I wanted to share a directory that I indicated with -smb /hdb7

And that is not what I get: after setting up samba users with smbpasswd I get the user's home directory that is shared, not /hdb7.

If I run qemu from a different user, I still get the home directory of the first user that is shared.

Any samba experts out there?

Hugo
