I did this and now there is no mention of ipv6, but still the same delay. Setting 'VERBOSE=yes' in /etc/default/rcS didn't help, it just says

Setting up networking.
Configuring network interfaces.

And at this point there is a delay, and then

Starting portmap daemon.

Any ideas?
