Thanks, yes: I have read that, more than once. It is a good introduction, but IMHO no more than that.

Yes, I had spotted that it was installed on mine too. texdoctk was new to me, though. I had to install perl-tk and tetex-doc, but after that, --wow! There is a lot of additional information there!
