I'm able to see the barcodes in giap.pdf (using xpdf) even if neither fontconfig nor XFree86 recognize the font "Bar 25i." http://home.earthlink.net/~mumia.w.18.spam/bar-font.png Enabling the font for fontconfig and XFree86 does not cause any change as far as I can see.
