Hi Nelson.

I'm able to see the barcodes in giap.pdf (using xpdf) even if neither fontconfig nor XFree86 recognize the font "Bar 25i."

Enabling the font for fontconfig and XFree86 does not cause any change as far as I can see. I have no idea why it's not working for xpdf on your system.
