The dependencies for mutt are libc6 (>= 2.6-1), libgdbm3, libgnutls13 (>= 1.6.3-0), libidn11 (>= 0.5.18), libncursesw5 (>= 5.6), libsasl2-2. I got this from 'apt-cache show mutt'. > I am compiling mutt from the source, so I can install it in my local Then you need the appropriate '-dev' packages as well as 'build-essential'. I suggest that you get the Debian source package (apt-get source mutt) and install the build dependencies with 'apt-get build-dep mutt'. You will also need to do 'apt-get build-essential'. Then run './configure --prefix=$HOME/bin' (or wherever you want to put it) in the unpacked source directory. Then run 'make install'. -- John Hasler -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-REQUEST@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
