Does Firebug work in iceweazel?

I have just installed the Firebug addon to Firefox in Iceweazel, but I cannot make it set breakpoints. Trouble is I don't know if it is working badly (there are some things on the web that say it may not if firefox is compiled with the wrong switches) or whether it is me not knowing how to work it correctly.

Has anyone used it?
