There is only one current snapshot: the latest! Sometimes there are several per day... As for which is better, 0.90 or the snapshot... That's a little hard to say. 0.90 had more systematic testing and is probably more stable. With a snapshot, you are always taking your chances; they often include new and experimental features. On the other hand, some parts of the software have been improving rapidly of late, and the snapshot is probably easier to work with.

None known. We try to keep things portable, but it is difficult for us to spot problems that don't show up on our current test systems (mostly RedHat 5.1 with a few RedHat 4.2s still around but going fast).
