linux-ipsec: Clientization of the IPsec Code

Hi,

        I am wondering (musing) on the possibility of using the freeswan code base to make an ipsec client for linux. How difficult, in your opinions, would it be to create a client (more of a user mode version) that could be used from a user standpoint (i.e. ppp). My guess is that it would be a very
useful thing, of course depending on the complexity of implementation. I guess it would be host -> gateway type connection at that point.....
