Hi,

> Unfortunately I am not that engaged with the current state of the project,

yes, of course, you are not adressed to do *all* the work - I understood the discussion on this topic more in a sense to find out, what's needed in the medium term, what will be the first and so on, probably, how freeswan can support dnssec devel...

> After that I hope I can stay at the project and maybe find an institute or

I'll keep that in mind ...

> I will use the december to set up all the hardware and the testnet and

Initially, Angelos D. Keromytis started to work on Pluto in May/June 1997. Hugh D. Redelmeier (hugh@trends.net) continued to work on it in the FreeS/WAN project (how much of Angelos' original code is still in use?). I believe that I know some internals of Pluto, too, at least until the releases around September this year (I used it for my E-IKE-extensions).
However, Hugh D. Redelmeier should assign a very concrete (short term) development part to you (I think you want to write code, not only design an interface or so) - but I suppose it's not so easy to find a part that can be finished until February AND fits in Hugh's long-term developent strategy... Hugh?

Do you need help?X

Greetings
Kai
