        Fraid not... When working on things at this level, I do a complete clean build of the entire kernel from scratch every time... It may well be silly or unnecessary, but when trying to track down problems like this it cuts way down on the random acts of terrorism. I also generally reproduce problems like this on at least two systems and as many ways as I can accomplish, just to nail down causal parameters...

        But 'preciate the thought anyways! :-)
