You are correct. It does not follow the link. That is why I suggested doing a seek-and-destroy any *.o files in the *IPSEC tree*.

Copying everything into the kernel tree presents problems with checking stuff back into our CVS development repository.

Hard link! Hmmm, this has potential! This might just solve our dilema... Thanks for the idea! Discussion?
