Kai, this sounds like fine work and a useful contrabution to Linux FreeS/WAN. I would suggest you port your work to a current snapshot and then post it to the list so that the Pluto maintainer can add it to the next snapshot and therefor the next release. If you do this soon your code might get in the 0.9 release that could happen as soon as this weekend.
Oh, since this is a significant contribution you will need to esign an email putting your code contrabution under GPL for us (or signing any and all 'rights' over to us such that we can put it under GPL). Contact me for more details on this GPL stuff.
